UPE薄膜采用优质原料制造,分子量小达450万,达到ASTM要求。UPE薄膜 以其优越的耐磨性、耐冲击性和自身润滑性等特点,成为用途广泛的工业原材料。被广泛用在煤矿开采、造船、交通、脚垫、脚贴、绝缘材料、耐磨垫片、家具脚垫、滑道、耐磨面板、食品加工台面板等多种场合及产品中。从成本方面考虑,超高分子量聚乙烯UPE薄膜密度较小,按平方换算,超高分子量聚乙烯(UPE)比聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)价格低50%。因此,UPE薄膜已经逐渐代替PTFE薄膜成为代工厂的脚垫原材料。相比较传统鼠标脚垫所用的材料聚四氟乙烯(PTFE),超高分子量聚乙烯(UPE)更加耐磨,而UPE的自润滑性又与PTFE接近。同时,从成本方面考虑,超高分子量聚乙烯(UPE)密度较小,按平方换算超高分子量聚乙烯(UPE)比PTFE低50%。
